Project Athena has certainly grown to be an integral part of student's lives at MIT. So much so, that one group of hackers thought one should not be deprived of access even while taking care of routine bodily functions. Taking matters into their own hands, they setup a prototype Athena cluster in a prominent Men's restroom just off of the Infinite Corridor.
The cluster was, no doubt, removed because it did not provide equal access to all genders. Athena has yet to follow up on their forward looking lead.
