As they removed the fake inscription, physical plant piled the spring-loaded mechanisms which held the inscription in place on one of the Lobby 7 pedestals. Here, we can see the springs, stoppered plungers, and arms. The box like structure was wedged between blocks of stone over the inscription. The springs pushed the plungers out to hold the boxes in place. The pipe-like tail reached down to hold the styrofoam inscription in place.
