On the Monday prior to graduation, the Great Dome bore the inscription ``IHTFP,'' instead of the normal, ``MCMXVI.'' Hackers, apparently, arranged the switch over the weekend. The hack lasted through the early morning as workers set up chairs for graduation. Before noon, MIT's Confined Space Rescue Team removed the hack. According to several reports, style and construction were reminiscent to the Lobby 7 inscription change which occurred at the begining of the school year.
