Location: Lobby 7
Date: March 23, 2001
A crack (hack?) excavation team uncovered a large black monolith in Lobby Seven during the early hours of the morning, Friday, March 23rd, 2001. Institute workers were quick to remove the site ...no doubt a cover-up.
Is there something significant about this date (aside from the fact that it's the last day of classes before MIT's spring break)?
This latest monolith appearance continues a long running theme of hack monolith appearances, dating back (at least) to the infamous monolith in the east Campus Court Yard. Four years earlier (when the current seniors were freshmen...hmmm, maybe there's a connection), a monolith appeared in Killian Court during the freshmen picture.
