Anti-harvard banner at CPW

Location: Rockwell, then Building 10 hack gallery
Date: CPW opening ceremony, then again on June 18, 2003
Perpetrators: WHO

At the CPW opening ceremony, a 2-stage RF-deploy banner unfurled after a prefrosh asked the question, "Why is MIT better than Harvard?" The first stage read "Harvard university: the future of politics and slacking is yours." Then, a layer of the banner peeled away to change the Harvard logo to "HU-GE-EGO" and the wording to "Harvard sucks."

On June 18, hackers placed a simplified version of the banner in a gallery of hacks from the MIT museum on display in building 10.

This sign was placed with the banner in the hack gallery.
