In summer 2003, a security vulnerability was found in Windows which prompted IS&T to send out security warnings to the entire MIT community. When Bill Gates came to speak at MIT in February 2004, hackers handed out hundreds of yellow cards with the security warning printed on one side with "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" stamped on top. The other side had a mock ransom note.
