Teardrop on dollar bill mural

Location: Dollar bill mural outside 10-180
Date: December 15, 2005

Shortly before the dollar bill mural in front of the Cashier's Office in Building 10 was to be removed to make way for a new glass-fronted student lounge, the bill's George Washington shed a tear to express his sadness at leaving.

The $1 bill mural has adorned the wall outside the Cashier's Office since the early 1970's and was the target of a hack in 1993 when it was briefly turned into $10,000 bill.
