I'll Have Thesis Finished Pronto at 2007 Commencement
|Location:||Front of Building 10 (Killian Hall)|
|Date:||June 8, 2007 (Commencement)|
During the 2007 Commencement ceremony, five white panels dropped down from the front of Killian Hall (the front of Building 10). They displayed the words "I'll Have Thesis Finished Pronto". The banners unfurled at the moment that Dana Mead, the Chair of the MIT Corporation, took the podium.
The first letters of the banners spell out "IHTFP", an acronym with many meanings.
In an unrelated hack, some students also wore deactivated stickers on their mortarboards. Deactivated stickers are normally placed on property which is no longer being used by MIT.
