In a 5-4 ruling on June 26, 2015, the US Supreme Court held in Obergefell v. Hodges that same-sex couples had a fundamental right to marriage. In celebration of this decision, that night hackers colorized the lights which illuminate the Great Dome to appear as a rainbow flag.
