In celebration of the upcoming holiday season, hackers decorated the Little Dome with colorful lights that spelled out ``MIT.'' The lights were placed so that those entering and leaving at 77 Massachusetts Avenue, the ``main'' entrance of MIT, could observe the lights. The hackers also put ``presents'' on top of the dome.

The lights disappeared briefly for one night or so, but were soon back, lighting the rooftop with cheery holiday glow.
